I have some problems with MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum (NForce 3) and raid0. Windows installation goes OK, but after that instead of logon screen BSOD appears (with 0x00000024 error). I think there is some problem in nforce drivers, because when I'm using driverpack masstorage 5.05 (which contains old drivers) everything goes fine.

I think I found the solution. Now I have integrated Masstorage DP and working F6 (not breaking unattended installation). Thats what I've done: 1. Integrate BTS's Driverpacks. I'm using method 2. 2. Set OemPreinstall=No in winnt.sif. In this case your $OEM$ folder won't work. Maybe you also need to set AutoPartition=0 (I didn't check it. But I set it to 0) 3. You can copy all necessary files through presetup.cmd, which is in your i386 folder after itegrating Driverpacks. So you don't need $OEM$ folder. For example: xcopy /Y /s /e %CDDRIVE%\OEM\win\*.* %SystemRoot%\ All files in cdromdrive\oem\win\ will be copied to systemdrive\Windows\ That's all.

At what stage of windows installation does presetup.cmd start? I want OemPreinstall=No in my winnt.sif to enable F6 function, so Can I copy INF files from Chipset Driverpack through presetup.cmd?

FuNKeR, I had the same problem. If you using another file to identify you cdrom drive (not WIN51), here is a solution: 1. Open your generate.js in wpiscripts directory 2. Find function FindCDRom() replace WIN51 (it's using twice in this function) with your file name. That's all.

Does your pack overrides standart windows drivers during 1st stage of text-mode Setup? I'm asking you this question because I have a BSOD (0x0000007B) with Ali ide (not raid). If I use my Windows Installation disk without integrating your massstorage drivers everything is OK. I'm using latest DP BASE V5.03.2 and DP MassStorage V5.03. I've compared original win xp sp2 TXTSETUP.SIF and yours: -original aliide.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,1,,,1,4 -yours aliide.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4 Maybe I can just replace 4 with 3 and everything will be ok? Sorry, I have no ability to test it, because that pc with Ali chipset is far from me now.

I'm using this reg tweak: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects] "VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000001 After that all otions are only enabled in "Start\Control Panel\...\Visual Effects" but they aren't really applied!!! 2. Can I put "My computer panel" on Desctop? And place it on the upper side of the desktop, parallel to the "Task panel".
