  1. No, I have a NAT router. try turning the built-in firewall off inside your router and also any other security functions and see if it works then
  2. try adding a password 2 the account, u can even use the spacebar as a password it may be comming up with an error because it expects a password, if it doesnt work still try a letter like 'a' for a password Please Reply
  3. did u get backup off a Win XP Pro disk or your XP home disk? Please Reply
  4. is the network set to automatically assign ip addresses via DCHP. Have you tried a static address? To do that you would have to: Instructions when running XP 1. Find a computer that works with an ip 2. Open the network connections folder on the computer with an ip 3. double click the computers network adapter (that's plugged in) The status dialog should have come up 4. choose the support tab 5. click on the details button 6. note the ip address, subnet mask, default gateway and the dns servers (there should be two) then on the computer that doesnt work 1. open the network connections page 2. right click the adapter 3. choose properties 4. 'This connect uses the following items:' box scroll down till you get to the 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' box 5. Click on it once then click on the 'Properties' button below the box a dialog should have come up 6. then click on the radio button that says 'Use the following IP addresses' and enter all your noted addresses (ip address, subnet mask, default gateway and the dns servers) 7. with the ip address to prevent conflcts change the last set of numbers to 255 (e.g my ip harvested ip was 10.1.1.23 i would change it to 10.1.1.255) apply the changes and try the connection if it doesn't work try the end ip of 254 post back if that then still doesn't work
  5. have u got any firewall that may be blocking the broadcast?
  6. Thanks but.... are there any unoffical 64bit drivers for the ov519 video chip
  7. Hi, I was just wondering where I might find 64bit Drivers for the OV519 Video Chip on a Windows Computer (I'm Buying a computer with Windows XP x64 on it and have an eyetoy). It doesnt matter what camera it's made for as long as the camera uses the OV519 Video Chip because i know how to replace the VID &PID combo with the one my camera uses e.g. The drier can be from D-Link as long as the camera that it is made for uses the OV519 Video Chip Thanks atyndall
  8. Does anyone here know if the .iss InstallShield files have any folder variables e.g Windows has %systemdrive% because when i create a .iss file for my Unattended Windows the file has the path listed as szDir=C:/Program Files/********* when i want it listed like szDir=<installshield system drive variable here>/Program Files/********* because a lot of the time my partitioning makes the windows drive different e.g G: instead of C: therefore making some of my silent install programs mess up Thankyou, atyndall
