  1. With developer, you can place a number at the end and it will still display 0.e+0 but with help if you place a number after it it just gives normal behavior. So, here is the current list of words that trigger this: setup (flarn2006) developer (flarn2006) help (DL)
  2. Open the Run dialog box (Start->Run) and type calc /setup and the screen will say 0.e+0. Then if you try to type any numbers (in Decimal mode, not other bases) it will just beep and not type anything. If you type a number after it (i.e. calc /setup 4) it will limit you to that number of digits (i.e. 4). Try it. What do you think this feature is for? Why do you think it was put in? NOTE: I have only tried this on the Windows XP Home SP2 version of Calculator. Although it probably does, I cannot be sure if it works in other versions of Windows. So if you don't have XP, don't go posting saying I'm lying! But do post why you would be in the XP forum in the first place! EDIT: If you type in calc /developer instead, it will do the same thing except you cannot specify a number after it. (Well you can, but it won't do anything!) ▲EDIT: It's actually calc /develop and then you can specify a number at the end.
  3. Actually Paint didn't come out until Win95. You're thinking about Paintbrush, a much different program. And by the way, Paint.NET uses that lousy XP Photo Printing Wizard, which can't print images in actual size -- it insists on stretching them.
  4. Say, what visual style is that? I would think it's Royale Noir except for the start button.
  5. Whenever I go to print in MSPaint, the image always appears stretched. I know for a fact that it has something to do with my widescreen resolution, which is 1280x800. Is there anything I can do about it? In the attachments, circle.bmp is an example image to print, and circlepp.jpg is what appears in Print Preview (minus the lossy JPEG compression, of course ) Changing my resolution to one with a standard aspect ratio (such as 1024x768) fixes it, but I like the widescreen resolution because my laptop has a widescreen monitor. circle.bmp
  6. Oh, I forgot to say never mind. I got on to check my email to see if I had any replies, and I couldn't start Windows, so even though I said it's the last thing I want to do, I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows. Now I'm not getting the errors anymore.
  7. Okay, so I'm just using the computer, minding my own business, when shortly after my computer boots up, it bluescreens. It is one of two errors: KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR or KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. Any suggestions you can give will be appreciated. I want to stop these bluescreens and the last thing I want to do is reformat my hard drive. I tried System Restore, but it didn't work. Attached is a zipfile containing minidumps and a System event log of all of the blue screens that occurred today. I am posting this in Safe Mode with Networking, as that seems to help. All of these errors happened today, 2/03/08 (yes, I know it's Super Bowl Sunday; who doesn't?) You can find my system information at http://www.paste-it.net/6180. Just save it as a .NFO file and double-click to open it in MSInfo32. Once again, please help me. Thank you very much! mini020308_xx.zip
  8. I know what the problem is, rapidshare.de sucks!!! They want people to pay just for uploading files. Here's a useful bookmarklet to avoid the 1-minute wait without paying: java script:void(c=0) java script: only one word. The bulletin board keeps making it two... All you have to do is activate the bookmarklet and you can instantly download the file! i h4xx0r3d rapidshare.de
