i dont know about usb but my friend got his external drive w/ firewire to install unattended. i dont knw how he did it. network install I hv not seen a laptop that has a floppy in so many months now. all my friends use CF cards. My sony vaio does not come with a floppy. Floppies are useless now. You can get a 2.8 GB CF card for 80 dollars. And most laptop either come with a CDRom or DVDrom Drive.

dude! the only time u use autoit if the installer does not have a silent installer method with autoit u see dialog boxes. with our method it is totally silent
