@GM Wouldn't be nice to have 1 DataBase for all MSFN where you can grab the Hotfix list from, so only 1 update is needed... (EX: Aaron is updating constantly the XP list, if he would have updated A Main DB List, you could grab your list from his automaticly) just a thought...

Hi, I've added MSN Messenger to my XPCREATE (SetupDl.exe -> SVC-X2M) & I've noticed I have both MSN Messenger & Windows Messenger after a clean installation... Why Is that?

I thought no1 will notice... Actually I had some problems with the NAV2004, & somehow I couldn't get it reinstalled... (I have another AV now) I found this: Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 295824 which made me wonder if NAV left some entries messing with my Office... but couldn't find any... So, I tried to reinstall Office with no luck...

that's not what I meant by my wuestion (I understood that you're not installing from a CD) My question was: Are you installing all the Hotfixes + IE + DX during the Win98 Setup or after it is completly finished?

@dennxyz, I thought you were running all those batch during the setup of win98 not after...

@dennxyz I ahve a few questions: How exactly is FindOS.bat called for the first time (by who)? From within FindOS.bat you execute this command: CALL \98\98.batwhich automatticly executes this command: CALL %Systemdrive%\Install\04-DX9C.batare you still in DOS mode? Actualy all the rest of the process is clear... (as long as I know the answer to those questions)
