Boot Windows installation from usb-drive? (usb-stick or usb-hdd etc.)

Hi there

When it comes to changing something in ur Windows installation, like adding new drivers & updates, u always have to burn a new cd/dvd or rewrite it.

It would be easier to change the installation media directly, but unless u formatted ur cd-rw with Mount Rainier that's not possible. (Can u use MRW on a windows installation cd/dvd?)

So, my question is: Would it be possible to make the installation boot from a media like an usb-drive?

Perhaps by -somehow- writing the cd's bootsektors to the usb-drive?

Or by using the bootcode the installation writes on the targeted partition? That'd be REALLY kewl!!
