October 4, 200520 yr Is it possible to remove the windows tour prompt after you install the OS? Edited October 4, 200520 yr by mgy
October 4, 200520 yr If you have DOPATH=YES in your XPCreate.INIXPCreate will put the correct lines in the WINNT.SIF
October 5, 200520 yr It is possible, but it's not xpcreate related.if you search the forum you will find it, it's just a reg key.but then again, I can give the key to you right now [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Tour]"RunCount"=dword:00000000[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Tour]"RunCount"=dword:00000000the current user one is best applied during the t-12 stage, then it's applied to the default user, and every new user will have the reg key.
October 5, 200520 yr Author thanks...is there also a regkey to disable the windows xp security center icon coming out on the sys tray
October 5, 200520 yr Don't know if you're referring to the auto update reminder or the firewall, but try this:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center]"AntiVirusDisableNotify"=dword:00000001"FirewallDisableNotify"=dword:00000001"UpdatesDisableNotify"=dword:00000001 Edited October 5, 200520 yr by Marthax
