ripken204 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 dont bother with RAID, you really don't need it.have you decided on AMD, have you look at Intel's Core 2 Duo at all? Intel's Core 2 Quad will be very cheap in a monthanyways, the only thing that i would change would be the sound card. there is a new sound card that creative and auzentech are making, the Auzen X-FI Prelude, http://www.auzentech.com/site/products/x-fi_prelude.phpthis card will own! but go for the x-fi if you want something cheap..
EaglePC Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 yes i know me bought this 3 months ago now i see the e6600 C2D is now 225.00 from the over $300.00 range:)guess it does look good anyways for the x-fi does it go in the very last pci slot theres only 2
ripken204 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 oh i thought you were asking about getting a new computer.put the xfi in the last
Thunderbolt 2864 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Better if you add an extra gig of RAM on your PC if you plan to use it for gaming. RAM prices are quite cheap these days.
