iMyst Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 My current XP install is from PeerWeb XP v4.0 from PeerWeb.com, which includes the driverpacks from DriverPacks.net which I believe is why it worked. I want to reinstall now, but the legit Windows XP Pro disc (paid for) doesn't recognize the drives in the array when I get to setup. So I installed and setup my own disc with nLite and included the Chipset and MassStorage drivers from DriverPacks.net but it still doesn't see them.Important Specs...Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe nForce42x Seagate ST3250624AS in RAID-0What am I doing wrong or what can I do to make this work? (and I want to do this without using a floppy for drivers)
Ponch Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 If you go to the 2nd or 3rd page of this forum, there is a huge thread about that sort of drivers integration, (55 pages long). Most info has been summarized in the 1st post.
iMyst Posted June 16, 2007 Author Posted June 16, 2007 I attempted the Legacy approach and it failed. I would do the other but no where in my manual can I find any indication as to what specific chipset my mobo uses. It'll say nForce4, but nothing specific. If someone could help me find that I'll attempt the other method listed in that thread.
