Hello

I was trying to create a wmp11 danish addon by using nLite Addon maker. I have found it here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=73008

now I have extracted allfiles from wmp11.exe in a folder and selected installation folder in nLite Addon maker the problem is "Command for silent installation"...which one to type? and how can I know what command to type for another program?...is there a list where all these commands are explained?....

Thanks in advance

Well, i don't personally use WMP myself(foobar2000), but as i was feeling alittle bored at the moment, then i have just did a very quick search and i stumbled upon this quote from MSFN member 'elajua' :

if you unpack the installer, you have to run various .exe files.

dont get confused. to install right, you just have to run the file you got from microsoft, that is wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe and add this parameters to command line:

wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe /Q:A /R:N

Source : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=654591

So in this case, then i would just make an addon that called the official MS installer directly. Then in your case, where you use an automatic addon-maker, then you should just make an empty folder and move the WMP installer into it and then point the addon-maker to that folder. Then select the WMP11 installer as the file that should be called and then enter the following in the place where you define the switches needed : /Q:A /R:N

These switches means 'totally quiet'(admin mode) and 'no reboot' afterwards.

Of course you could also just instead wait for someone else to come by which actually knows what the he** he's talking about

Btw, nice to see a fellow countryman around here :)

CU, Martin.
