I have a problem Everything works fine with the Unattended CD but with Norton Antivirus 2004 i got an error. What do I have to do to make it work?

i'm trying nav2004 also, same problem i guess..

it says something about a missing file ("can't install without ...", i don't remember the exact name, but it was something with the word "setup" in it, "setupxxx.inf" or something i'll look at it again in my next install

Give us the exact error as well as a copy of the cmd line you are running.

The exact message was:

Norton Antivirus 2004 Professional cannot be installed without symsetup

in a standard message box and then i can only press 'OK'

the cmd line :

NAV.msi /QB

I tried installing with navsetup.exe /QB and it worked fine with my NAV2004

You can't install any Symantec products directly form the .msi. You must use the setup.exe wrap. It should be fine if you do that.

Ah, yes....this is what I have:
