Dexx Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Ive made a fairly simple nlite disk for WinXP 32 bit which i'm installing on a P4 1.6 desktop. All goes well, except after the first boot when runonce is processing it complains that it cant find c:\windows\system32\nlite.cmd. I'm running nlite 1.3.5. I'd imagine that the nlite.cmd command would be setup during the build phase. Where can i look to find out why the file is missing?
Travan Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Dexx,I don't have a definitive answer for you. Look in your source file location under I386 for the file nlite.cm_, apparently this is used to build the nlite.cmd file on build. My problem with my build is that I can't get the runonce items that I put into it, out of it as I moved to RunOnceEx.cmd.I'll keep you posted if I find out anything today, as I will try to remove nlite from the machine and reinstall it. I do know you need nlite.cmd for the installs as I deliberately removed it yesterday to see if I could get around my issues.
Dexx Posted June 11, 2007 Author Posted June 11, 2007 I started from scratch with a fresh i386 directory. Its fine now. No idea what was missing the first time.
