if I integrate IE7 into the XP cd with nLite, will I still need to go through the validation process the first time I start IE7, just as one needs to do when installing IE7 separately?

Use RyanVM IE7 English addon. Integrate into your install. You can use IE7 after you have installed windows without WGA prompts. Tried and tested in VMware

I just downloaded the IE7 install file from microsoft.com and integrated it as a hotfix with nLite. If it doesn't work, I'll try the IE7 Add-on from RyanVM's forum.
