KNO3 Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I downloaded the new service pack after looking into your guys forum and decided to join. I downloaded it and attempted to open the file. It says it doesn't recognize my version of windows. I have windows 98 SE version B. Any help would be great.
awergh Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 oh, did you install some official update pack from microsoft cause im pretty sure there was something like that, that changes the windows version from 4.10.2222 A to 4.10.2222 B
erpdude8 Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 make a registry change in RegEdit and change it from 4.10.2222 B to 4.10.2222 A and retry the 98se service pack.
