nlite on xp home

hello all... im kinda noob at this but i started out trying to remove wmp9 and now i noticed that nlite is for creating custom installs of windows. all i want to do is remove some components from existing installation of xp home. is this possible with nlite? is it safe? i just want to be able to remove certain things from windows without reinstall... thanks ahead of time!

nLite is for pre-install component removal. If you want to remove components without reformatting you will have to purchase XPLite.
