skylark53 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 (edited) I am running XP Professional. The system tray always contains the little Windows Messenger icon, with a cross beside it because we don't have messenger (or don't have an account). Question is, is it possible to shut it down or disable it in 'settings' so that it doesn't fire up? I haven't found a way to get rid of it while Outlook 2003 is running. I like a tidy system tray. ;}Thanks! Edited July 2, 2007 by skylark53
skylark53 Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Does anyone have any suggestions for this one? No replies at all so far...
N1K Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Run this .exe and Choose to disable or uninstall messenger completely from your system.xp_AntiSpy_english.zip
