Rick Posted September 10, 2001 Share Posted September 10, 2001 Hey,I have had trouble with hotsyncing my Palm from my home computer on XP and also at work. Here, it just does nothing when I push the hotsync button. I got this message at one point and I get it all the time at work..."Hotsync manager will start when Port ? becomes available" I have checked and there is nothing on these ports that are supposedly being used. I was able to resolve the issue of not being able to Hotsync by downloading the latest version of Palm Desktop 4.0 and after uninstalling the old and putting on the updated, it works fine. Don't know if the old was incompatible because it had worked on earlier builds of XP but then again some of my other things, such as scanner worked fine in earlier versions and now will not work at all.Rick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
