Floppy Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 (edited) HeyFirst of all; Thankyou Tomcat76, your program has helped me a lot Running hfslip I get this,(see Pic)I used an older ver. of HFSLIP and there was no error. Now I used 70512 and I have this error.... Any Ideas?HFSLIP.rar Edited May 15, 2007 by Floppy
Tomcat76 Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 The problem lies with your list of hotfixes; it's way out of date.A few comments:1) Support for msxmlcab.exe has been dropped many months ago; this was documented for an extended period of time in different locations2) Please include only one KB8908303) Please remove wmcsetup.exe, wmfdist95.exe and hotfixes for WMP8 and WMP9 when slipstreaming WMP11When in doubt, check either the_guy's list at the top of this forum or my dynamic list (linked from my signature).
Floppy Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 (edited) Thankyou for your reply!!I have removed the file that you mentioned. And then I conscientiously compared your XpSp2 updatlist with my HFSLIP. (Puha) So now the Error is gone!New error....Iam doing my XP in Norwigian. So the error text during hfslip is in norwigian.I says somthing like this;-------------------------------------------------WindowsXP-KB873339-x86-NOR.exeFolder is not emptyTEMP`\hypertrm.dll1 File(s) copiedFolder is not emptyWindowsXP-KB885626-v2-x86-NOR.exeFolder exsist or file TEMP exsist alreadyTEMP\update.sys1 File(s) copied--------------------------------------------------HFSLIP report this sevral times for diff. KB'sMy HFSLIP folder is F:\HFSLIPIam the administrator.I have tried to make a new HFSLIP folder and copied the occupied directorys (HF,HFTOOLS, etc) over.Fresh SOURCE.The error stays.Any ideas?EDITAfter running this compilation an doing a MS-update(via net) Iam only missing this updates;KB930916 KB931768Can this updates be added to HF?HFSLIP.rar Edited May 16, 2007 by Floppy
Tomcat76 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 I suspect one of the hotfixes that precedes KB873339. The only new one you have is windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe. Remove it and see if the error still appears. The two updates you mention are supported; I haven't updated my lists for the May updates yet. KB931768 replaces KB928090.
