leeland Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 (edited) OK this will probably be one of the more noobish questions I have had but I want to attempt to slipstream in the drivers for my Sound and onboard LAN using nLite and cannot figure out how to do it. I have searched all over and cannot figure out what to do after I download the drivers from ASUS's website.I have downloaded both:Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver V8.56.7.3SoundMAX Audio Driver v5.10.01.6110 DTSand unzipped them. They have AsusSetup.exe's which extract and install the drivers...ect. I cannot figure how to use that driver and nLite together so they are slipstreamed into the disk (i.e. I don't have to install the drivers after installing windows)...Can someone please give me some direction in detail as to wtf I am doing wrong cause I am going nuts trying to figure how to extact the drivers so I can slipstream them via nLite.Any help is appreciated greatly. Thanks,Leeland Edited May 12, 2007 by leeland
boooggy Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 easy way is to install them normally and then use a backup driver software.
IrfCore Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 I have a similar MB Asus P5B-VI extract everything with Universal ExtractorFor SoundMAX Audio Driver you only need the folder SMAXWDM\W2K_XPMake sure you integrate KB888111 for it to work. If you don't have it, it's probably included in the SoundMAX Audio Driver zip file, or search the forum.I assume you are on WinXP then you need for Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver only these:yk51x86.catyk51x86.infyk51x86.sysI also include:yk51x86.txtyk51x86.htmHope it helps.........
