[help] onboard microphone

Hello?

I'm using XP and trying to make the onboard

microphone work.

When testing audio device, selecting this onboard

microphone doesn't work, but switching to the other

built-in microphone on an usb webcam works.

Currently, the onboard microphone is connected to

a headset's microphone.

And, I have asrock p4v88 board.

Its not muted in the volume controls, is it?

Simple error often over looked.

Hi,

It's not muted.

But I had to reinstall the entire os the other day.

And, this time I made sure the onboard microphone

works by configuring it first. Then, I configured the webcam.

Now, both the onboard's and webcam's microphones work nicely.
