ACDSEE 9

Have a problem with unattended install of acdsee 9.

When i do "clasicall" install (next, next ,next) all works fine.

When i do unattended everything installs fine but if i try to start acdsee it just start and exits right away (seen this by observing task manager)

I do following cmdline :

acdsee.msi /qb LICENSE_MODEL=Full PIDKEY=XXXXX YAHOO_TOOLBAR_INSTALL=0 REBOOT=REALLYSUPPRESS

where XXXXX is replaced with serial number.

I also tried installing directly from setup.exe but with no luck

Any thoughts appreciated.

maybe /qb is located at the end of the batch...

looks almost same with mine ... just my /qb is at the end

Ok i rechecked at it seems i damaged my OS with constant installing / deinstalling of ACDSee, so i tried on virtual OS, and it works with no problems.

Its all ok now, i damaged my system registry. I tried on new computer clean install and it works fine

version i 9.0 build 55

you can try to erase all acd systems entries in your registry in order to try it again in your computer.

i will try version 9.0.108 on vista to see how it works.

Nah, i wont do that, i tried allready.. i will do clean OS instead... its my own fault that i was to lazy to use Vmware
