I noticed that, too! I wonder why that was done? I never heard any discussion of it anywhere. Looks OK. What do you think it should have looked like? I'm not so good at favicons, so I don't have any suggestions.

Well for starters, the colors appear a bit dull.

I think it would have looked better if it was like the tilted Windows logo that the MSFN banner currently has

or even the 'm' part of it would make a good favicon
