The opengl drivers from forceware or detonator (for my 16 MB STB velocity 4400, a riva tnt based card) are too bad.

weeks ago i downloaded opengl setup but this requires an internet connection. No problem, i will try from other computer. OpenGl page no longer exists(redirects to id software site).

In other forums i heared about a "full version" of opengl setup but searching in fast or other search engines (Google stinks for this cases) i cannot obtain results.

¿Anybody know where i can download it?

PD:I'm looking for a very old detonator driver, the 1.09 version but is lost in time.

Hey, don't get angry. Currently is not common find tweaks for my graphics card (The file that you have shown is a year older than my current driver).

But i don't know what happened with my computer. Just three days ago both windows are working well with original drivers (win 98 uses original STB drivers and win 2000 uses detonator 12.43-bad with opengl.). After testing a geforce2 based card (I updated the drivers) and the problems began.

When i reinstall the riva tnt card and STB original drivers in windows 98 and 2000, its performance is decreased (Quake 3 decreases from original 37 fps to only 20 using the same seetings). Even after a file cleanup, both OS cannot obtain a better performance.

Have you tried rolling back the registry as well before the time you tested that card? You can do so by going into the boot menu and hitting 'command prompt' then typing 'scanreg' to have it check and offer to view/restore an older backup.

What it sounds like is that you may have cleaned up the drivers but there are some rogue registry entries still active that may also be shared by your other card, thus having changed that cards settings as well.
