I noticed that the XPize boot screen masks any going-ons once windows begins loading. For example, dialogs requiring user input, scandisk, and any important information.

I wish to know how to remove the boot screen.

Thank you!

The Bootscreen used by XPize is applied by changing C:\boot.ini: The line which points to your Windows-Installation.

Following option disables the standard bootscreen: /NOGUIBOOT

The Option /BOOTLOGO stands for that a logo is displayed...

both together will force loading c:\windows\boot.bmp instead of the normal logo at boot.

Try to open that file in Paint(.net)!

By changing the Bitmap you get the changed one... Or, rename C:\Windows\boot.bmp to another name, but NOT C:\Windows\winnt32.bmp!
