Can't install Office 2007

Featured Replies

I get a Setup error: "Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run Setup again from the original source disc or download location.

Did I remove something I shouldn't? Can I do something now, or do I have to make a new nlite disc and install windows again? :-( Thanks!

can you post your last session file then we can take a look if you removed something you shouldnt have

I don't have it anymore... I formated my disc and reinstalled windows. Thanks...

  • 7 months later...

I'm getting a setup error saying that "OfficeLR.cab" could not be found, even though its clearly in the directory its looking at. When I "redirect" it to the appropriate directory it just pops the same error window back up.

Since the disc works on my computer that is running a full version of windows I'm assuming I removed something I shouldn't have, but I REALLY don't want to have to reinstall windows on this machine. Any help would be much appreciated.
