bonestonne
is there anyone who knows how to set up a wireless connection with windows 2000? i need to take my workstation back upstairs, where it can only get to a wireless network. i've got a belkin USB wireless adapter that it does recognise, and i have drivers for it, but i can't find a way to connect to my network.if it matters, i do have it encrypted, but i cannot for the life of me figure it out myself. this is my only problem with windows 2000, hopefully someone knows the answer...the adapter is compatible with windows 2000, but maybe theres something i'm not realizing. cluberti
Windows XP had built-in support for wireless networking, but Windows 2000 did not. You will need the utility that came with your wireless adapter to make it work properly on Windows 2000.
