Yes you can add a CPU to almost any notebook on the market but this notebook is not Merom. This notebook will be Conroe. (socket 775) Thats right 1066 FSB in a notebook. There will even be a model that will take the Extreme processor. I have seen and held this notebook, very cool!!

You can also change out the video card too very easily.

does it really need to be upgradable if there is an Extreme in it? lol

but its nice to see easy to upgrade laptops now. btw, you have been able to upgrade laptops for a long time now...

i was considering doing it with my laptop until i got my new comp.
