hsteo
Hi all,I have had a network problem which i seriously hope someone can answer me...if my analysis doesn't make you understand, feel free to ask me questions.Recently, I encounter this problem: whenever i type in "www.example.com.sg" the IE would show a page call "Network wireless ..... WG304" -- the dots means i don't recall the exact words. However if I try using "www.example.com" the IE will show the website that i wish to see. What is the exact fault here? The weird page had this address on the URL section "https:\\192.168.0.20" which is the private IP address my attachment company is using. Hope someone can tell me what to do. Many millions thanx in advance.Regards, hsteo
cluberti
Try running a tracert to www.example.com.sg and see where you end up - sounds like a DNS issue...
CptMurphy
If it is a dns issue like cluberti said, go into the command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns. Then run ipconfig /registerdns. This will clear and renew the dns entries from your gateway. Also, when in doubt, reset your router. Edited April 9, 2007 by CptMurphy
