April 4, 200719 yr Sometimes when i try to install applications on windows server 2003 I get 'Application cant be run/installed on this OS' (or similar...)Is there any way to bypass this check?Usually these apps are created with install shield.

June 26, 200719 yr Sometimes you can get away with changing the registry key to reflect a different product version so the installation can complete while thinking it is Windows XP for example and not Windows Server 2003.
