Shark007
I'm having hard time with my windows vista ultimate installation, every time I click on a system tray icon, like the sound icon, my windows vista stop responding.I have experienced this same situation with ONE particular icon.It was a configuration icon for my onboard C-Media AC97 Audio Device. My solution - click on it. wait it out. It finally comes up. wait it out. Slow to navigate. wait it out. set things as you wish. wait it out. on the last screen, choose to not show the tray icon. wait it out. Finally it was gone and I never had a problem anymore since I dont have the icon anymore.A more permanent solution, watch (and wait it out) for updated drivers to be released by the manufacturer.shark
