Hotfix and Application Integration?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Are there any plans to include hotfix and application integration into vLite as they were in nLite?

Or am I being blind and it already works!!! :blushing:

These were the most useful features for me. Reducing the size of the installation was only a secondary benefit of nLite.

Thanks

Alex

Would be nice indeed, I googled around a bit and stumbled upon a guide. From the looks of it, this should not be too difficult to do yourself. Only thing is you need a tool which is 700MB in size, that is quite a bit more compared to the size of vLite. So I understand why people want it there :-)

Thanks,

That guide looks quite useful, if a bit long-winded. I'll give it a go.

But what about adding applications to the image? The way that nLIte worked for XP was really useful.

Nuhi, is any of this stuff planned for the future?

Alex

peimg (part of WAIK) does a good job on that so it's not a rush. However I will check if it can be done better (doubtful) and if possible to do at least the same but without the peimg.
