Mymrik Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I use folder PROGRAMFILES (is in folder HFEXPERT).If in folder PROGRAMFILES is subfolders with not-English names - there is a error at installation Windows. To avoid the given situation, I now change the coding of the text from the DOS-coding to the Windows-coding.Whether it is possible to automate this process somehow?P.S. Tomcat76 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 This may be impossible. I can make the INF file in UNICODE for non-English languages (will require quite a bit of extra code), but I'm afraid UNICODE won't do it for Russian. I think it needs to be UTF-8 and I don't know how to create a file in that encoding with a batch file. I'll try to make an HFSLIP version that creates a UNICODE HFSLIPPF.INF for non-English languages and then you can test if it works or not. This will be in a few days. If it doesn't work... you're out of luck.
