Mouse problem

I have windows xp with a Ball mouse, not the lazer one. I will be randomly looking at anything and playing games then all of a sudden the Mouse goes mental and starts oppening and closing things and jumping around the screen every where. heres a video to make you understand more.

It would be quite easy to try an other mouse to rule out the hardware problem possibility. Also check you don't have keys of your keyboad that are stuck.
