clivebuckwheat Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Hi I would like to disable the second sata port thru windows xp, using devcon, how would I accomplish this. I have tried several things but the sata port does not seem to be apparent when I list with DevconPlease help if you know how to do this?

uid0 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 You could try mountvol, assuming you have something attached to that sata port, but it's not a safe way of doing thisWhy do you need to do this? If it's to hide one disk from another, you can get bootmanagers to do that for you, like GAG or XOSL.
