Disabling Alt+Tab

Is there any way to disable Alt+tab? It is for getting minimized by mistake during a certain game.

I tested this on my machine but it hasn't worked yet so it likely requires a reboot.

I tried the regedit on this page but it didnt seem to work on a virtual machine I tested it on.

Yea i tried that with a reboot yesterday but it didn't work...
