nitroshift
Does this happen only on windows update site? Also, you may want to read the msfn rules regarding your signature.

nitroshift
You mean you haven't got Automatic Updates on? Set them to on or try this:right click on My Computer ---> Properties ---> Automatic Updates and check the item "Download the updates for me, but let me choose when to install them"Come back if the problem persists. im1knight
the setting was like that since the minute i got the computer. but for some reason it has turned to notice me only. now i switched it back, now everytime i click turn off computer there is the update sign on the turn off button..and everytime there are 2 updates. so basically the computer is not installing the updates.
