Error when downloading updates

I've selected 87 WinXP SP2 updates to download... but sometimes between one download and another, I receive this error message:

The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine

After hitting OK, WUD says that the downloads are complete. Then I see that the last download is OK, but the next one didn't begin. Then, I try download it again and it works

But some updates just don't download (the error repeats, so I have to skip them)

I'm using version 2.25 and connecting through a proxy server.

Sounds like the proxy you're using is buggy...

Pretty sure that the proxy server's software must be corrupting some of the traffic.

I've just realized that if I retry to download a "failing" update, it begins the download normally.

Sometimes I have to retry several times, until it works

Definately sounds like the proxy is causing you grief.
