zErO Posted January 12, 2002 Share Posted January 12, 2002 Go control panel/display/appearence/......then choose the effects button then make sure that the box is ticked that says "use the following method to smooth edges of the screen fonts"then instead of standard choose clear......and that should change the lettering under ur desk top icons to a darker more visable display:cool: I think thats what u were after??? Scroll to the bottom in the visual effects tab04. check/uncheck "Use Drop Shadows for icons labels on desktop".... is that what you are talking about?
