stu500 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Hello,I recently had my XP PC go wrong so i took it to a PC guy who got it working again (said it was Hard drive failure) since i got it back i have noticed i am unable to open 'User Accounts' & 'System restore' in the 'Control Pannel' i double click on them and nothing happens/opens. Does any onw know why this is - or how i can resolve this problem?thanks,Stu.
FAT64 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 (edited) You could try repairing your XP installation. Reboot from your XP CD, follow instructions as though you were doing a fresh install and about 3-4 screens in you have the option to Repair your current installation. Don't worry, it won't delete any User Accounts or Applications; it just removes the Windows files and puts them back again (sort of).
