Vista "Balloon Tips"?

How do you stop Vista from "popping up" tips/info? Here is an example,I have blocked some programs from running at Startup.A "balloon" comes up and tells me I have done this. I have turned off User Account Control, I get a " tips/balloon" that I have done this. How do I stop this?

before disableing the Security-Center go to the Security-Center and change the way Windows notifies you. there you could turn the notifications completely off.

it will open windows security center

you can see "change the way..."on left buttom

there you can choose whatever you like.

If you want to disable all balloon tips, this worked for XP (haven't tried on Vista yet):

Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Value: EnableBalloonTips

Type: REG_DWORD

Data: 0

Thanks,no haven't tried that but don't really want to disable all balloon tips either. Aware many xp regtweaks work on Vista not all.

Just wanna disable the Block start up thingy?
