Hey,

I am aware of the below registry tweak:

;Change the Transition Effect for Menus and Tooltips

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:9e,3e,07,80

;OR

;Scroll
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:9e,28,07,80

I would like to disable the transition effect altogether, is this possible? I'm currently doing it with nLite.

Have you tried changing Bit 31 to 0 using either inf or WSH methods
