vpn routes

Featured Replies

I have an issue when attempting to connect via VPN to 2 different branch offices. I have made sure that the destination RRAS servers assign addresses in different ranges, so as not to have any conflict. As an example, consider that I am connecting to one VPN server in Denver that is assigning an IP address from the 10.2.1.x range. I am also, at the same time, connected to a VPN server in Tucson that is assigning an IP address from the 10.3.1.x range. I can connect to both servers without a problem, but I can only connect to one branch's systems. The reason for this is two /8 routes that my VPN client assigns in my routing table:

10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 <ip address assigned by Denver VPN server>

10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 <ip address assigned by Tucson VPN server>

I do not want these routes to be assigned by my client. I want the /24 routes to replace these- e.g.-

10.2.1.0 255.255.255.0 <ip address assigned by Denver VPN server>

10.3.1.0 255.255.255.0 <ip address assigned by Tucson VPN server>

How do I make this happen? Is it a registry setting I need to change?

connect to both servers, do a route print from cmd, paste it here
