how do i get new product key code

i realize ive posted about this before but i never got an answer and my copy will expire soon. i could download another version of the OS and get a product key code in an Email from microsoft but i am unsure if the key will work with the OS im using . Do i have to wait untill it does almost expires and follow prompts to install the new product key code or is there another way . Thanks Johnny

You don't need to wait. Just ask google for a "keychanger" and you will be able to enter your new key without reinstalling.
