For some reason my silent install of WMP9 has decided to pop up a warning dialog box, complaining that system restore is turned off. How do I supress this dialog?

/DisallowSystemRestore

Nope, doesn't work. Gives me this message:

"Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for help."

Any other ideas?

Disable system restore after installing wmp9 instead of before.

Yeah see that's the strange thing, during setup my registry tweaks don't execute until after both DirectX 9 and WMP9 are installed (or at least the install line is after those two), yet somehow system restore is disabled even before the registry tweaks are installed.

You have to extract files before and apply switch to setup_wm.exe, otherwise:

MPSetupXP.EXE /Q:A /R:N /C:"setup_wm.exe /DisallowSystemRestore /Q:A /R:N"
