Setting the Nation registry value

Featured Replies

Since none of the regional options in nLite change the "Location", I've found where the registry key exists for it:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\Geo]
"Nation"="39"

But there is also keys for every user (S-1-5-18, S-1-5-19, etc) and a default one here:

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International\Geo]
"Nation"="39"

I've had no problem using nLite, but I have no idea how to safely make my own changes as part of a installation disc. What would be the easiest way to implement this for all users?

Hi, i had suggested this before and got no replys lol :(

iv got an entry for the time format..

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International]
"sTimeFormat"="h:mm:ss"

id love to see these both added to nlite :rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure changing "Language" and "Localization" (under custom) in the Regional tab of nLite will change the Standards and Formats to whatever applies for that language/country. However, I don't believe there's an option in nLite for setting a time format other than the one for your language/country.

I couldn't find the full list of country codes, or a way to parse it from the installation.

If someone knows I would be glad to put it.

If I can't find a list or extract one, I would be more than willing to create a list manually. What format would like the list?
