vista not centered during install on lcd screen area

I attempted to install Vista on an Nforce4 machine with an older 15 inch LCD. The install windows were too large and mostly off the screen to the lower right. I could work around some of the early windows with the old alt-spacebar trick, but eventually I got stuck. Any ideas? (not practical to change monitors)

Cant you adjust that with the monitor controls, on the monitor?

Is there no "Auto adjust"? All the lcds I've seen have that.

Auto-adjust or manual did nothing. However, I just tried it again on the same computer in the exact same manner. Everything was fine this time. Don't you just love computers!
