How do I connect these two networks to each other?

Hi, Is it possible to connect a network of 192.168.1.0 to a network of 192.168.2.0? If so could one be on a switch with all the hosts having static IP's and the other have a router? Or would both networks need to have routers?

Thanks!

If both are on different LAN segments (and I'm assuming they are both /24 and on differing segments), you need a router, or switches that can do static routing, to pass traffic between the two. Some higher-end switches can do basic VLAN routing if the networks are on differing VLANs on the same switch.
