rgp-03
I have a 7 disk set of Hewlett Packard crap containing the system recovery WinXP home edition with TONS of GARBAGE in it. Can I use nlite to trim this down so it doesn’t take half of the hard drive? I have already made one unsuccessful attempt, but I just want to know if this is possible with a set of recovery disks before trying again. RaGhul
Honestly, I don't really know. But I wouldn't think so.Although, I kinda think you're missing the big picture, which is:Why, in the name of all that is holy, would you even want to DO such a thing?Save yourself time, gray hairs, and bloodshot eyes.Get a copy of Windows XP SP2. Any copy, Corporate/Pro/(even Home... ) will do, just as long as it isn't that BLASPHEMOUS Dell/HP/Compaq/Gateway RD crap!!
