zaxon Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 First off i got to say it. WOW what a program, only found it today, and made my cd of about 60 programs that are now all installing automaticaly, and managed to get them on 4 computers - what a time saver. thank you , thank you and thank you for this great application.once i finished all the functional building of my list, i now want to style it the way i want it, and to ship the cds with my computers as an application recovery CD.i want the window to size up 800x600 which is no problem, and have 3 columns on the window (that will be scrolled if my list will get too big) which proved to be harder than i thought. with all the styles glossy, glossy horiz, and classic i couldnt get the 800x600 to take 3 columns, i managed to get the colums narrower through the CSS file but even though i made it so that 2 columns are now taking roughly 1/3 of the space, the 3rd(or 4th or 5th) column does not apear.i am not a javascript html or css expert, but i can kinda get my way around, but tryed as i have, i couldnt get it to fit in.i looked through the forums and found a few people asking about it but never saw any answer that worked for them. can some one please help with this?thanks
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Hmmm First off thanks for the nice comments.Second off pick a theme and I will do what I can (3 collumns are VERY tight though)
zaxon Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 i like the classic. i would probably put a custom image there later on as well. i take it you are making modifications specialy ? thanks a lot that is more than i hoped for. I thought it was built in to the wizard, or am i wrong. i saw that the install tab on the option menu had a number of columns, so i thought it was meant to take 3 columns(or up to 5). did i miss anything ?
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 That is really for more asthetic purposes on larger resolutions. Than way they can choose how many to be shown.WPI is smart enough to modify that number due to the desired resolution.Yes I have always taken most personal modifications into hand. I like to be that helpfull.
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 OK I really went all out and did everything possible to make the Classic look and line up perfectly at 800x600 resolution! You now have the 3 columns you want and everything lines up very nicely! Just grab this file here and overwrite the WPI folder of yours. (Don't worry your config and options will not be overwritten.)P.S. the key entry was in the first few lines of boxes.js...
