mybootorg Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I installed 4.6 b2 on a Windows XP SP2 laptop. It's not on a domain and has only one account. I use the classic logon style where it boots and enters into Windows without prompting for user credentials. In XPize, I check the checkboxes under the Desktop Tab for Desktop View Style and change the radio button to Tile. I do the same for Background - Transparent. Under Misc, I have 'Load on Startup', and 'Save on Close' checked. And all components are set to startup with Windows.I click Apply for grins. Then I hit 'Save Now' which tells me my setting were successfully saved to the XPSize Settings folder (XPizeSettings.Username.DatPROBLEM: When I reboot after a normal error-free shutdown, the settings do not persist. If open the Settings from the system tray, it does not show the changes that I previously made.Love this program - but I'm one to set my icons up a certain way and then leave them that way. Kind of a drag to have to keep re-organizing them and having to keep setting Tile/Transparent.Any ideas? Thanks in advance,Craig, St. Louis MO
